Verse 2 from J. Cole’s “Lost Ones.” He is the truth. No to abortion, yes to life.
For argument’s sake, J. Cole wasn’t taking a “pro-life” standpoint in this song; if anything this was more about a woman’s choice over her own body. Hence the two different perspectives; the man telling her what to do with her body, and her telling him what she’s going to do with her body. You can’t cherry pick the second verse of the song and say “no to abortion, yes to life.” It’s just a realistic account of premarital pregnancy; and J. Cole made a masterpiece.
